Diff'rent Strokes

Starring Gary Coleman as Arnold Jackson, Todd Bridges as Willis, Dana Plato as Kimberley, and Conrad Bain as Philip Drummond - Diff'rent strokes was the story of a rich bloke and his clue-less type daughter who take in a couple of poor black kids from Harlem.

Obviously produced by extremely talented writers, the series spawned such classic lines as ...

Arnold: "What you talking about,Willis ???" ... and
Arnold: "What you talking about Mr D ???"

Gary Coleman went on to play in Buck Rogers, then faded into obscurity. Perhaps the pressures of being child-stars were partly responsible for Garys alleged assault of an autograph hunter, Todds conviction for drug and weapons offences, and Danas arrest for attempted armed robbery ! Dana died in 1999.
