Mr McTout, the Lock Ness Keeper doesn't believe in the Lock Ness Monster - but his kids, Angus and Elspeth do! Using their whistle, they call forth the Nessies from the Lock, and command them to do their evil bidding. It isn't long before these rampaging mosters are totally out of control, and they embark on a bloody killing spree, destroying everything in their path * * I'm not 100% sure about this!

Enid Blyton first wrote of the Famous Five in 1942, in Five on a Treasure Island. In that first book, brothers and sister Julian, Dick and Ann meet for the first time with their tom-boy cousin, Georgina, who prefers to be called George. Timmy the Dog - the fifth member of the Famous Five, belonged to George; in the TV series he was portrayed as a collie, but I'm sure in the old hardbacks my mother gave me to read, he was drawn as something looking more like a Setter. Mind you, its probably 25 years since then, and my brain is rather addled now!

The Forest Rangers was a Canadian adventure series from the 1960s which was about the lives of junior Forest rangers living in Northern Ontario in the mythical town of Indian River. It was seen in the UK as well and recently the star of the show, Graydon Gould, made on appearance at a cult tv convention in England.
