| | Star Fleet In the early 1980s a puppetry show arrived on TV screens in the UK which was markedly different from anything that had gone before. For a start, it wasn't made by Gerry Anderson. Queen's Brian May was so impressed by it he covered the theme tune. - LINK -Star Fleet X Bomber Home Page

Based on the original TV series, it followed up on stories and ideas already featured on the show, such as 'More Tribbles, More Troubles' - the sequel to 'The Trouble with Tribbles'. Many of the characters were voiced by the original series cast, including William Shatner as Kirk, and Leonard Nimmoy as Spock.
