Terrahawks

The Terrahawks were an elite squad who, following the First Alien Attack three years previously in 2017, were created to defend the world against its unknown aggressors. Headed by Dr Tiger Ninestein, the Terrahawks consisted of ace pilot Capt. Mary Falconer; Lt. Hawkeye, an American athlete with computer-aided vision; Lt Hiro, the team's computer specialist and pop star-turned pilot Capt. Kate Kestrel.

From Hawknest, a secret base somewhere in South America, they faced the cunning might of the cackling, witch-like android, Zelda, Imperial Queen of Planet Guk, and her equally hideous allies. These included her cowardly and greedy son, Yungstar, and her feather-brained twin sister, Cystar, who was more bothered about her outfits than the invasion plans. In her Mars-based fleet of ships, Zelda carried a collection of the universe's foulest monsters, all now held in suspended animation, ready to inflict misery upon the unsuspecting inhabitants of Planet Earth. Unfortunately for her, the Terrahawks - in their spaceship Hawkwing - covered her every move. They were assisted by round robots called Zeroids who were controlled when on earth by Sgt Major Zero (whose voice was provided by Windsor Davies) and when in space by Space Sgt 101, pilot of the Zeroid spacecraft, Spacehawk.
