Around the World with Willy Fogg
Contributed by Harry Hayfield1872, Monsieur Jules Verne writes a book about a journey undertaken by a Mr. Phileas Fogg and his manservant Passepartout.
1983 and BRB International, a production company in Spain create a legend. Around the World with Willy Fog. Shown in 1987 by CBBC, hosted by Andy Crane, the show was an instant hit with the "Willy Fog Day" being watched by 35% of all children aged under 18.
In 1993, they did it again, Willy Fog 2 based on "Journey to the Centre of the Earth" and "20,000 Leaguies under the Sea".
These two programmes are still shown by the BBC, last time was August 1998 and July 1999.
