Adaptation of Mark Twain novels. As far as I remember, this was actually an adaptation of the Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and featured Tom and Huck having adventures and trying to find treasure hidden by the villainous Injun Joe on the banks of the Mississippi.
Tom fell for a girl called Becky and gave her a brass doorknob as a present. She wasn't overly appreciative.
